The Bear Hotel - Description:
The Bear was originally a coaching inn that has played host to Queen Victoria, Churchill, Eisenhower and the Canadian Prime Minister, Jean Chretien. Set in historic surroundings and located near the town centre, we take pride in The Bears successful combination of traditional charm and modern facilities. Local attractions include Nelsons Victory and the Mary Rose both housed at the historic Portsmouth dockyards. From earliest times, Havant has been famous for the crystal clear waters of its natural springs, some of which you might like to visit; Hamas Spring, now called Homewell, is in the town centre.
